Ok, I’m are bound to say it anyway, but all of my tops are beautiful. More so the Farmhouse range crafted from Scandi.

They are all constructed with the expert knowledge gained from many of years of experience, so you can guarantee the top of your table will last, probably out last our life time even, I guarantee it. But which one do you choose?

To help you, here is a handy guide to which top is what. Remember, any size, any colour, even if I don’t show it on my website.

So what is the difference between Scandi and other timbers?

Every timber has it’s pro’s and it’s con’s. Scandi however is a great looking solid timber that has a timeless classic farmhouse look. It is naturally rustic looking, easily maintained and quick to repair when little Johnny digs that folk in out of frustration.

Scandi is the perfect choice if you have kids. It is as durable as alternatives, will withstand a good beating and is inexpensive compared to the other options.

Don’t take my word for it, here is a video where I compare it with Oak. Shhh, grab the kids and watch it together, ill be throwing knives…

Lets see the tops!

Scandi Farmhouse Top

Constructed in planks giving you the much loved grooves down the entire table top.

Unlike most, I even groove the underside for authenticity which you can see on the ends. The top itself is rustic but only by its own natural being, you don’t get any usage marks, dint’s, saw marks or stains that you see in other tops. It is sanded smooth to allow the wax to bring out its natural beauty.

Typically 32mm in thickness.
Available in 4 wax colours.

Reclaimed Farmhouse Top

A top with a story. I leave in any small holes, saw marks, usage or age marks, stains and pitting to ensure you get a truly authentic looking piece of reclaimed timber.

Simply I don’t mess about with it. A new table for you but one that holds some history and natural character.

This is a planked top but only naturally, I make no effort to ensure the planking groove is identical across the top. Some of the planks even have a slight warp to them, if this is an issue I recommend the rustic top as an alternative. A great top if you have kids.

Typically 32mm in thickness.
Available in 4 wax colours.

Rustic Top Medium Brown

Scandi Rustic Farmhouse Top

My farmhouse top but with added character. Whilst I do sand this top, I sand it in a way that leaves in any rustic markings and character.

It is treated with my unique blend of ‘rusticness’ giving you a top that is truly like no other, no two are ever the same. It sports small dint’s, saw marks, bashes and bruises. The effect is fantastic.

Planked like the farmhouse top. A very forgiving top if you have kids.

Typically 32mm in thickness.
Available in 4 wax colours.

Scandi Farmhouse Slab Top

Don’t like the grooves? This is the top for you.

The finish is like the farmhouse top just without the grooves or you can have it rustic, just without the food catching groves.

A brilliant alternative to oak and with the medium brown wax finish, it is the same colour too.

Typically 32mm in thickness.
Available in 4 wax colours.

And what colours can i have?

Each top is available in 4 different colours. I know to much choice but you are here as you are looking for that dream, unique table that looks perfect in the space you have.

Antique Brown

This tint gives the furniture a more aged washed antique look.

Not so popular with the more rustic tops but it is a nice colour that’s isn’t to over bearing of a yellow.

Looks better with no or little sheen and works well on slabbed tops. Shown below on the left on a farmhouse top and right on a rustic top.

Antique Brown

Medium Brown

Probably the most popular tint as an all rounder.

The brown colour brings out the grain lovely, complimenting the timber. Looks best with a satin level of sheen but also gives any top a lovely used rustic look if not polished.

This one works well on all tops but specifically My farmhouse and reclaimed tops and can look just like oak.

Shown below on my farmhouse top to the left and rustic to the right.

Medium Brown

Dark Brown

If it is something a little darker you are after then this tint is the one.

It is my favourite and the most popular for rustic finishes. Looks great no matter the sheen and you can really get a nice shine with this one.

The deep brown has a very subtle red hue that makes the character within the timber pop. Looks great on all our tops but it is the best choice for my rustic farmhouse top.

Shown below to left on my farmhouse top and right on our rustic top.

Dark Brown

Earth Brown

A hint of earth. This wax tint, whilst brown, has a difference to the others. Named for its slight colouring like mud.

Looks great on any rustic or reclaimed top, as you can see below on the right, the left is my farmhouse top.
